Tiki Beach Grill - Galveston

A server was excellent, he has our drinks from all the time, it is hard to service like this in dfw, where I from. that was delicious. we had the nachos for appetizers and the shrimp poboy and the philly cheesesteakes had a quiet chill atmosphere to the restaurant. visit was 9/07/2021.

We dined in at 5 pm. They had a delayed opening because of short staffing so you might want to call and see if they are open before driving there. The staff was very friendly. The food was good and service was pretty quick. I had the chicken and sausage gumbo and 1/2 a sandwich. Both were delicious . Hubby had grilled shrimp and he enjoyed it as well. It can get very busy so bring your patience and order a drink and enjoy!

Stayed in the island 4 days… hands down the best food! My son had the Philly Cheesesteak, I had the fried seafood platter… the salad, baked potato fried catfish were spagnanomous! My husband had the Chris’ special… Our waitress “puddin tang” was the best!

Our waitress was to the point and on her way this way, that way and back again. Food was good and the portions matched the cost. The margaritas were on point and back to back which is rare but this bar tender isn 't your average Joe! Salad bar was small but good! Environment was average and you could definitely tell the difference between the locals and visitors. Outside area was over grown and seem to be in need of repair but then again, no one was out there. Still should maintain the lawn which the rating for the 4 and not a 5. Of course when you drive up it 's not what I expected and this place could use some cosmetic updates but other then that it was all good vibes. Two 's up! The final break down on the receipt would have been nice but I 'm good with paying for good food. $100 buck for a party of 3. Ordered 3 appetizers jalopeno kisses, shrimp wrapped in bacon and shrimp cocktail, 2 margaritas, 12 -Oz rib eye steak (1 cut) w/ French fries and garlic bread and fried shrimp w/ baked potato along withb2 salads which were self serve.

We were in the area for 2 weeks. We stopped at the Tiki for a regular margarita about 10oz. maybe 12 oz tall thin glass and a Beam and coke a 8 oz glass. We looked at the change from a $20 which was $3 there is no way that they should have been $17 for these. We left and didn't return. It's a shame, we were thinking it might be a nice place to hang out.
