Shearn's Seafood And Prime Steaks

Service started out bad and got worse. Then a big loud group started coming in and the bartenders and waiters got off in the weeds. Fat gal in a bathing suit wearing a cover up that didn't cover enough shocked me for a place with a dress code. When they turned the kids loose around our table that was it. Paid for our drinks and left. Went to the Steak House and was greeted and immediately given a table. That was at 9:40. Pretty wasted a Saturday night trying to eat at Shearns.

Great for a romantic dinner, business meeting or holiday meal. We watched a storm blow in from the Gulf as we ate, so beautiful. The food is great, the staff is friendly and helpful about the menu. Highly recommend it!

Expensive fancy dining with mediocre food and disappointing view. Servers did their best to make the whole experience fine dining. Lobster bisque was okay. Steak and shrimp with mushrooms special had a nice presentation but in terms of flavor, I have had $12 steaks that were better.

Website indicated there was a piano lounge. This was the reason I chose the restaurant, especially knowing it was on the expensive side. There was a piano however was told the player only showed up once or twice a week with no set days! The meal was good but expensive for a small filet. Atmosphere was great however colored by lack of live music! I will not return.

Wonderful atmosphere... delicious steak. Not so impressed though with 2 tired carrots and two asparagus spears to make up the rest of the meal... seriously lacking in portions .. and husband and I asked for each a side of mashed potatoes and received one with waiter saying we were to split it... was enough for one... 200.00 later we left feeling somewhat cheated. Tired of the Galveston rip off scenarios....
