Sampson Son's Seafood - Galveston

We dropped by looking for something fresh that we don’t get back home. We left with some blue crab and whole jumbo shrimp! The service was amazing! They are very informative and as they say “cash is king.” I suggest bringing cash to make the best deal. We had a shrimp and crab boil with what we purchased and the quality of the seafood was out of this world! I highly recommend this market to anyone!

We wound up there because we had heard of another one nearby.... we bought from the other one, then saw these guys and , wow. should have gone here first. We bought Shrimp for that night and then went back another day to get more to have before vacation was over and some to take home. Super cool guy and great shrimp and pricing!

100mi round trip for us, but totally worth it!If you want it any fresher, go out on the boat and get it yourself. Great service. Very little loss in the filets.

Great selection of fresh caught seafood. They literally get it off the boat and lay it all out over ice so its doesn't get any better than that.

Great seafood market. Very fresh and a great experience. I thought it would smell more but it was fine. They even let the pelicans in to eat some fish guts out of the waste basket! My 5 year old still talks about that...
