Mario's Italian - Galveston

The salad at this restaurant is top-notch, and the veggie pizza is packed with delicious toppings. However, the overall experience was disappointing.

This restaurant serves the best wood-fired pizza in town. The staff is friendly and the service is very quick.

It was the best restaurant for me during my trip to galveston beach. above all I liked lemon butter pasta perfectly. the pizza was really big and the cheese was so delicious. the child ate also delicious. the staff was very friendly. there was gelato in the load, but I would like to try it if I visited it the next time.

Always excellent. Sunday brunch or Saturday pizza! Mario’s is an island staple, eating is wonderful, always good service. try the key lime pie?

This is our favorite restaurant galveston for 15 years, but the reception and service have drastically declined. we arrived early on a Friday night and the high-ranking hostess was not polite at all, so we feel as if we were making them uncomfortable through this. the younger hostess looked at us apologetic, as if she recognized the smallest. we had to wait for us to sit due to several “reservations”, but these tables remained empty our entire meal. the male server was completely inconspicuous and when we asked for a thing, he actually said: “I have other tables.” Why forget the restaurants that the quality of service is almost as important as the quality of food? tipped $100 on a $290 bill anyway, because the food was divine. they try to make a Saturday full for every Sunday, but they were said to be they. on Sunday it was trying to see if we could sit on the bar or on separate tables anyway at 10:55 a.m., and while senior cabin hostess said yes first, 5 minutes later she said we had to come back in 2 1/2 hours. the restaurant was completely empty, but for 3 other small families also waited for the service. we are not difficult customers and are great drinking money. please work on their customer service and/or have a floor manager/supporter with strong human knowledge.
