Lunch Palace - Galveston

Great dive bar! Really good bar menu, my favorite is the BLT or the corn dog.

It's Lent season and you know Catholics need our fish on Friday. I was looking for a place on the island that served decent fish and saw the reviews. CLAIRE gave high comments on the fish. I'm from the island and never like one of the restaurants fish meals because we can make at home, so we are picky. Let me tell you! If you want hot fresh homemade cornmeal fish, this is your place!!!!!!! Jack can I just get a bucket of fried fish and skip the rest of the dinner?! I ate all my fish in the car on my way home and I think I have to go back. The fish deserves five stars!

Many places in Galveston stop serving food at 9 a.m., so I was relieved to find Jack's Pub was served a large menu with a variety of options late at night when I get out of work. Pizza, baked seafood, burgers, what I needed

Great place for a cold! Oh, and the food was Delish. Moving to the island...Jack's is at the top of the list of favorite hangouts

Excellent food, great staff and locally owned. Kitchen is open 1am. Get the cats, you won't be disappointed!
