Leo's Cajun Corner - Galveston

I highly recommend this restaurant over the big chain restaurants. The service is fast and friendly, and the food is delicious. My kids particularly enjoyed the Cajun dishes. The desserts are also a must-try, especially the bread pudding. This will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I visit Galveston.

The restaurant offers excellent service and features an authentic grill with a smoker located at the back. We knew this place was unique when we were warmly greeted by a lovely lady behind the counter. She described the menu options and allowed us to sample them. Every dish we tried was incredibly delicious, and I savored every bite. The brisket was perfectly smoked, tender, and flavorful. The crust on the rice was the best I have ever tasted. The homemade Southern desserts were also a highlight, with the bread pudding being sweet and smooth, and the carrot cake being simply indulgent. I am excited to return and try more dishes on my next visit.

The dining experience was amazing, with excellent customer service. The staff were super friendly and the food was delicious. The riblets were tender and had a mouthwatering taste. My daughter actually wrote this review, but she's right - the gumbo and Po-Boy were also delicious. Thank you!

This place has delicious eating and large portions. first I thought the price was a little expensive. it is not...not for what they get; a large amount of food, some of the best tasting I ever eat. great kartoffel salad. it is a simple restaurant where they go before ordering. the decoration is dated, but charming. who is back in this kitchen has thanked my eternal. that's an experienced cook that obviously has been doing this for a long time. go to this restaurant. no excuse.

I was referred to this place from a FB friend. Wow I’m glad I tried it! It’s the REAL DEAL! It’s a small place and they have a meat cooler off to the side just the way stores back in the day had them in SW, La. And best of all they don’t put BAYLEAVES in their gumbo! stop doing that And their gumbo tastes like ya Ma-Maw made it! Their meats are fresh and taste soooooo good! Boudin is off the chain! Andouille and Tasso! And the bonus is, the people there are always so nice! Thanks Leo!
