Allen's - Galveston

Had the short ribs. Candied yams. Broccoli casserole. All was very good and flavorful. Would Def eat there again.

Awesome food, great soul and southern cooking. Each plate will feed you two meals. Everything fresh and homemade. Only one warning, come hungry!

I always support and frequent this establishment for years and years. Good always good and plentiful. I’m headed there today for my usual one friend one smothered chop with my greens and peas.

Best soul food that I have ever had!! Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Only taking off a star because they opened later than posted making me run behind. Even the sign in the window said they should have been open. But the food was excellent and I’ll definitely be back. Probably not before I have to be at work though.
