I am very impressed! this is the best service and the food I've had for a long time. I had the smashed steerburger with kartoffels, gravy, broccoli and one by the side. jeremy was a very nice and attentive server, he went beyond and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. josiah made my dinner, the smashed steak was very tender and had the best taste I ever had. I've eaten so much, it's my favorite. thanks!

About a year ago, this Central American restaurant in Gallup underwent a beautiful, complete renovation. The service at The Iron Skillet was impressively quick, and I received top-notch service throughout my visit. The waitstaff even shared my feedback with the chef, which I thought was great! They did an excellent job with the fantastic Southern tradition of cooking eggs over medium. Thank you!

Who would have thought that a restaurant at a truck stop could be so good? I had the Southwest buttermilk chicken sandwich, and it was excellent! The fried chicken was crispy, the bacon was perfectly crunchy, and the ingredients were really fresh. The fries were just the way I like them—boiled with a nice crispness, but not overly crunchy. Everyone else in our group enjoyed their burgers as well. Our server, Johnny, was very friendly and attentive. He offered helpful suggestions about different food options and made sure we had everything we needed, including condiments and extras. If we find ourselves in this part of New Mexico again, this place will definitely be on our list to return to!

The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious! The prices are fantastic too! I appreciated being able to fill my travel cups with strong, quality coffee. I highly recommend this place!

I got breakfast here and it was phenomenal I don't know about the rest of the food but the staff is friendly and the breakfast is out of his world. Definitely try the vanilla pancakes.
