Iron Vault Distillery - Galion

Never was here because there are hours for a liquor store. Ppl wants to get out of work at 5-7pm and not buy alcohol during half the day. A joke for me to be a liqueur. Open more hours and later and get sick the business.

The city of Galion is not where I expected to find a hidden gem like this. But the people in this distillery put their hearts and souls in good quality spirits, along with perfection through painful process and mistakes to make it all work. The tour here is wonderful. So much passion goes into what they do. Your botanical-infused gin is some of the best everywhere. Her Ohio Five Grain Whiskey is the bee knee on Cheddar cheese. I love it! As a side note, the owners also lead a city brewery, 1803. I wish this distillery a lot of success. From the word of the mouth, they are definitely on the way.

My wife and a tour and LOVED took the experience. We have an inner look at all aspects, such as Thier Spirituoses. We saw the grain, yeast and even water. The Iron Vault family made us welcome when we were in the middle of their operation. We could try their products, the moonlight is phenomenal and their wheat vodka is the best I ever had. If you want darker mood, the reformer Rum is a fantastic old rum. You also have amazing whisky! The Ohio 5 Grain is a big siper, and her Star Spangled Bourbon is made from red, white and blue maize. There is nothing more Americans coming from the heart of Ohio!

This distillery is a gem! We got a very informative and interesting tour from the owners and got to sample their delicious products. A definite must visit and must go back soon spot!

Stopped by on our first stop in our tour south. What a wonderful hostess that greeted us, shared their inspirational story and the tastings were delicious!! We will be back here again!!!
