Market Cafe - GALIANO

If you're in search of a delicious latte, quick cappuccino, or a shot of espresso, Daystar Market is the perfect place to escape from technology. Don't expect WiFi at this cozy spot, but the lack of internet just adds to its charm. Don't worry, this place is anything but bad!

Don't miss this great cafe...lattes, salads, fresh food served in a funky outdoor cafe...attached to a fantastic fresh food market and health food store. I was so pleased to be able to get almost anything at this beautiful (and modest looking from the outside) Market. A must visit place!!

I am excited that the Galiano daystar market is open again. The sweet cafe in the back, which had been closed for years, has reopened as an art gallery store and coffee bar. I hope that it stays open during the cooler months so that I can enjoy sitting by the fireplace, which is my favorite spot when visiting Galiano.

Sweet, well stocked store. We got food for a few days and found wine across the street. The coffee place looked good too though we didn't try it out.

This market on a small island with just over 1000 residents offers a wide selection of reasonably priced organic produce. I wish there was a cafe nearby.
