Hummingbird Pub Family - Galiano Island

It's a warm and inviting restaurant with very friendly staff. The food was mediocre, though, and most tables weren't wiped clean.

Way better food than you'd expect. The roast beef on my sandwich was outstanding. Really fast, friendly service. I'm glad I came here again.

Honestly the 'Bus ' is the best thing by a country mile, I cannot say enough kind things about the driver and the experience. Made my son 's day.As for the pub it 's solid standard pub fare. Nothing outstanding but it is supper comfortable and I like it. Now there is one point, kids are not allowed to play pool, even under adult supervision. This is a change from previous years. My son is 12 y/o and plays pool at home but because there was a 'incident ' kids can 't play. This cut short our visit and we didn 't spend as much as we probably would have had we been allowed to play. Miner 's Bay Pub on Mayne did allow us to play and spent hours there and our bill was much higher. I 'm a gulf islander and love this place just think they need to rethink that one policy.

Good good, awesome service. Can be a little bit of a wait as it's one of the only places on the island
