Now called Stan Joe's. Same location and same phone number slightly different menu. BUT still plenty of crabs. Rating based on experience under the old name.

Super good fried shrimp and onion rings and green beans! Yum! Cool view. Rainy day so ate inside. Cool to watch the tide coming in. It was getting a little concerning; which made it even more fun to watch. Haha. Really nice waitress too! Sorry don't know her name. But she was real nice.

Restaurant has fantastic views of West River. Stopped in for Friday happy hour and dinner. Had cream of crab soup and soft shell crabs dinners. The crab soup was fine, but not the best I've had. Was not as creamy as I like and did not have a lot of crab. The soft shell crabs were good, but not as crispy as I like. My friend liked her crabs a lot. Service was good. Worth a trip back because if views, but will try other menu items to see if I can find some really good food.

Decent food. A little pricey for what you get. Typical bar food for a kids menu, not many healthy kid friendly options. Service is fine. Nothing about it is wowing but nothing bad either.

When I say on the water I mean on top of the water in pylons. The outside is definitely in need of a remodel it at least paint. The inside was a lot of wood around the bar area and a good amount of seating. I was there for Monday lunch,let me tell you the fried chicken,mashed potatoes and green beans were to die for. A half a chicken that was crispy on that first bite as the juices drips off the piece down onto your chin. I don't eat string beans but I tried it and ate the entire bowl,tender with a hint of bacon,damn I could go for some more right now. The mashed potatoes were real not out of the box with a gravy to die for. All for $10. They have different specials daily . Service was great and prompt on the refills. This is one of the stops that I won't miss whenever I am in the area. Give it a try And check out the specials.
