A local favorite, with traditional dishes, cozy atmosphere by a giant olive tree, and great service. We came here twice and loved everything the stuffed squash flowers, traditional lamb, tzatziki, and garlic bread are a must. The cats are also cute! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Look no further, this is the best taverna in Chania. All authentic Cretan dishes. Generous portions, fresh sourced ingredients, friendly atmosphere, and wonderful staff. MUST TRY dishes are Bacaliaros, Stuffed Zucchini Flowers, Cretan Salad, Gigante Beans, Mousaka, Skordalia. We dined here 4 times over our 1 month stay in Crete. This place is truly a gem.
