Hibachi Sushi Supreme Buffet

I've been dining at this buffet for several years and have consistently enjoyed the food, as it is an all-you-can-eat establishment. There are plenty of options available, including a variety of fruits, salads, seafood, beef, and chicken, all prepared in different styles. Desserts feature baked goods, ice cream, and simple dishes for the kids. Everyone seems to behave responsibly and quietly during their visits to the buffet. I even celebrated Thanksgiving here; while they served turkey, they didn't have any traditional American side dishes.

I've visited this restaurant twice, and today was by far the worst experience I've had with my family. The staff has been friendly and attentive, which is a positive note. However, the food varies from day to day and unfortunately, today it was served cold. The drinks, especially the Sprite, had a strange taste, almost like sewage. You have to pay at the entrance, and you'd expect that they would serve hot meals and quality drinks. My first visit was somewhat better in terms of food, but the drinks were still lacking. I won't consider returning unless they make customer satisfaction a priority.

If anyone took a moment to observe the amount of food left on the patrons' plates, they would quickly realize that the quality of the food was lacking. There was an enormous pan of discarded food in the bus cart, indicating a real problem. Most of the dishes were overcooked and served lukewarm. A lot of the food was bland and lacked taste. Additionally, none of the eight or more buffet tables had staff wearing gloves. The kimchi had no flavor and no spiciness. The various shrimp dishes were nearly impossible to peel because they were overcooked. To top it off, the ice cream wasn't cold when served.

It is rare for me to find nothing good to say about a buffet restaurant. Normally, they have at least a few items that are hot, well prepared, and made from quality ingredients. Sadly, EVERYTHING I saw and tried at Hibachi Sushi Supreme Buffet was terrible. Don't let the pictures of the clean dining room and bountiful heaps of colorful food fool you. Nice little buffet in town, great for a craving, but doesn't hit the spot with the selection. There is still too many mixed items catering to the western palette. I go to a chinese buffet to eat Chinese food, if I wanted American, I go to Golden Coral, etc. But there is few selections of Chinese items and mostly fried foods and finger food.
