Bellagio Pizzeria - Gaithersburg

Short version: it was meh. A disappointing birthday celebration for my sister. She was house sitting out in that area, I drove to meet her from Laveen. Definitely will not be making that trip again. Longer version: it was a nicely decorated restaurant,with a small patio, and quite a large crowd, so obviously other patrons like the food. There was ample parking, which is a bigplus for me. Unfortunately, the food was not all that appetizing. We were going to order some drinks but they didn 't have acocktail menu, which sucked because I like mixed fruity drinks. More accurately, I like those drinks to be on a menu with theiringredients so I know what sounds good. I don 't want to have to say mix this and this and this or be a plain Jane and ask forrum and Coke. No cocktail menu was definitely a bummer. We opted to go with the blazin ' saganaki for an appetizer because whodoesn 't like cheese? And thank my lucky stars I am not lactose intolerant. It was the best part of the meal. The Montanara pizzawas so-so (crust was a bit too thick for me) yet the spinach, chicken and artichoke heart was the most disappointing. I like mycalzone to be semi-thick and soft, just barely beginning to develop a crust, yet this calzone was too brown (almost burnt) andcrispy like the lavash pizza crusts. I don 't like to waste food but I couldn 't force myself to even finish the leftovers thenext day. Sorry to say, it went into our compost bin. There really was nothing good about it. I don 't like doing rating placesless than three-stars, especially nowadays when so many places are struggling, but I am unable to find any reason to giveMilano 's more than two stars.

Awesome restaurant!!!! Great food and variety. Only issue is they charge double on a 1/2 1/2 pizza which makes no sense. If you order pepperoni on one half and bacon on the other 1/2 they charge for a 2 topping pizza. That?s the 1st time I?ve everexperienced that at an Italian Restaurant.

Went to milanos for first time tonite for dinner. After reading reviews I was expecting much better. I ordered gyro plate. Disappointed. Gyro meat was barely warm and they serve it in very thick pieces. Not tender. Rice was fair at best. The mealcame with only one half piece of pita bread. I asked server about the half piece of bread. He offered to put an order in for mefor another half piece. Uh, no. I have been to many Greek restaurants and none have done this. Salad was fair. My husbandordered pizza. New York crust and it was good we will drive a little further to.gilbert for the best Greek place in the eastvalley

This is our second time going and it has been such a good experience every time. They are very kind to my kids which is always so enjoyable. We were able to be accommodated with a larger party pretty fast. We called ahead. Let them know and immediatelywe're sat when we arrived. Their food is amazing and very high quality.
