Contribuiți la feedbackWe stayed at Chateau Beau Jardin for three nights while we visited a number of wineries over the Medoc. Michelle was very welcoming and in our first night a bonus, our own chef, Jean was a pleasure. Fresh ingredients, amazing aromas, supplemented by...wine. And then next night it became better: fois gras that melted into the mouth, duck cooked exquisitely. Fantastic! Oh, and don't stay bad here!
Rue Restaurant is very good in all aspects Even though it was better years Ago. The food, wine and ambience is beautiful, and as I remember, the price was regulated somewhat down. Price/quality ratio if you are in the upper...medocqqq
We went last week with my wife for a lunch and it was great ! As a starter, I had a tartine with some cooked grenier medocain and spicy tomato, it was an excellent start. Then, a croustade with veal kidneys on a pot with...a OMG sauce.. We had as wine a Medoc 2004 Les Ormes Sorbet that was perfect with food, soft and tasty, ready to drink ! As a dessert, some crèmes brûlées with 3 different ways and flavours.. Michelle and Jean are doing well, very well ! We live in the Medoc and that 's our favorite place.
This summer my family and I visited this restaurant twice with three children ages 13,5,and2. The children were able to play in the garden while we had apertifs at a lovely table outside next to the pond. The menu for 25 euros was exceptional and...included 3 courses. The quality of the food is of 1 star michelin quality or better. The hotel and restaurant is run by a French chef and his British wife who have two small children. After the children returned to the US, my wife and I returned for another wonderful lunch. The weather was not as nice, but we enjoyed the lovely dining room. This hotel and restaurant is a real find and great value in this part of France. We will return.
We ate here at the end of our holiday also stayed here, which means we could taste several bottles of the really good local wine list. First of all, the owners are really passionate about what they do, they are very proud of what they produce... excellent food in good environment with good service with good knowledge about the local area of the advantage that it helps fluent in English French. The menu is changed regularly in accordance with what is available in the season or season. Started with warm goat cheese packed in bacon finished with some local honey, it simply melted in my mouth was delicious. Next was a beef Wellington, not with the truffles around beef, but also some foie grass. It was cooked to perfection served with excellently presented potatoes small delicately prepared vegetables. All washed with a local 2nd wine from a small vineyard, a Medoc red, of course, where the owners knew the owners of the vineyard. Dessert was a variation on a tiramisu, instead of chocolate coffee it was red fruit I must admit it really worked. I would say, definitely visit sample the food going the site, but stay here too if you can.
