Go Go Gyro Grill - Gahanna

For years I've been looking for Schwarmas. Tony Stark aka Ironman's favorite sandwich. I was delighted to order them, and even more happy about the quality, serving size, flavor and freshness of ingredients. Tony Stark himself would be pleased with a Go Go experience. 5 stars.

The staff is friendly and consistently delivers excellent dishes. My mom really enjoys the lentil soup, and I always order the #2 without any problems.

Wife and I dipped in for lunch one day hungry for some gyros. Had no idea what to expect. Next thing you know, we are being given the white dining cloth treatment at a table outside on a beautiful fall day! Habiba made us feel at home, and spent time detailing her menu and what makes her cooking special! She made us feel special too! Gyros were right on the , the Turkish Coffee was an experience of its own and the French fries?..I declared them the best in Columbus upon eating a couple bites with Habiba?s seasoning blend. Lights out! We don?t live near by, but moving forward if we are in the area, you can bet we will stop to say hello to Habiba and order some of her special food!

For the second time in a row after ordering the 2 gyro I got home to discover the lamb was severely overcooked, salty, and tasted like cardboard. Plus there was no gyro sauce which made it a dry and nasty mess. On top of that disappointment, the extra sauce that I ordered and paid for was not in the bag! (Second time in a row my order was not complete. The last time I ordered through DoorDash The food was not up to par. Actually gross. I thought if I actually went into the establishment to place an order, it would be better. It was not. When I got home and realized how bad the order was (and the extra condiments that I paid for were not in the bag, again I called and calmIy described my customer experience and was treated rudely by someone who claimed to be the manager. It was especially disturbing, because I never asked to be refunded, I didn?t ask for a new order, I wasn?t being rude. I simply called to inform them of how bad my order was and was hoping they could correct the mistakes. Used to be a great gyro place but now they do NOT care when people spend their hard earned money and only want what was paid for!!I suggested Maybe they could put a little bit of effort into making sure they get the order correct because that was the second time in a row. Incredibly the manager basically called me a liar and insisted my order was correct while I?m standing there in my kitchen, looking at the hot mess they gave me. Thanks to the manager?s rudeness and the terrible gyro, I WILL NEVER SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY AT GO GO GYRO IN GAHANNA ON HAMILTON RD AGAIN. Problem solved!!

The owners are incredibly friendly! The gyro salad was quite delicious, featuring less lettuce and more veggies than typical options. The meat was slightly dry, but I visited during a slow mid-afternoon, so it’s likely fresher during peak hours. It's definitely a great place to grab food to go, although there are a few seats inside and a couple of small tables outside. I will definitely come back when I'm in town!
