Canvas Resto Lounge - Gaetz Brook

I ate once in this restaurant while staying at the Cambridge Suites Hotel. I had the fish chips which was very good. You get a big piece of fish. The options on the rest of their menu look good as well. The staff are friendly and I didn't have to wait long for my food. I would recommend giving this place a try when in Halifax.

Canvas has a good Happy Hour. We also had French Onion Soup and a glass of wine each one night, for around $60, which I thought was pricey, which is why I am only giving it a 3 star.

Great service. Went at happy hour, specials on meals and beverages. Highly recommend the seafood chowder and haddock and fries. More than ample portions!

Had the salmon for dinner. It is small but very tasty. Service is excellent.

The food is not appetizing at all, not seasoned or anything. do not recommend. this place is a scam
