Casa Portuguesa - Gaborone

Relaxed atmosphere with a nice flavor of Portuguese cuisine.

Swad, which was formerly Casa Portuguesa, has recently reopened with notable improvements beyond just a new name. The atmosphere and service have both greatly enhanced, and the new chef is making a remarkable impact. Although the restaurant mainly specializes in Indian cuisine, they also feature Portuguese and English dishes.

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time since the new owners took over. I thought I’d give it a shot, as it had been a while since my last trip to Game City. It was a wonderful surprise! The food was excellent, and our waitress, Hilda, was amazing.

I absolutely adore their chicken prego rolls, especially when paired with the tasty Peri peri sauce they provide!

Everything was amazing! From breakfast to dinner, every detail was spot on.
