Blowing Rock Brewing Company

Great drinks, great food, great service, great atmosphere. A bit pricey, but that’s what you’ll get in downtown blowing rock.

It was our last night Blowing Rock. Every place that was suggested to us for food had been a disappointment. I suggested we go to Blowing Rock Brewery, where I was fairly confident that at the very least, I could get a good beer. We were a little bit hungry, so we ordered food. It turned out to be the best meal we had in Blowing Rock. The Waygu Burger was fantastic! Highly Recommended. The service was awesome! Much thanks to Abbie, our server. She was kind and very attentive. Not only did she ask us several times if everything was to our liking, but her knowledge of the beers and her descriptions were spot on. A great experience for our last night in town.

Came here with family while on vacation to try some local beers. Was told if we were only drinking beer and not eating we had to sit out back. This is a brewery, right?! Sitting out back was not accommodating to a party of seven, unless you like sitting at an old picnic table near the trash, serving yourselves, and feeling like an unwanted customer. When the rest of our party showed up, we told them the situation and went to another nearby place that made us feel much more welcome. Blowing Rock Brewing Company really blows. Sorry, couldn't resist that last bit.

My husband picked up a $16 burger, and I kid you not...it look like something you'd find in a McDonald's kids meal...never again!!

Great experience. I had the grains salad with grilled chicken and my husband had the bison burger med rare. So yummy!!! Great beer and service.
