Plumb on Tennant - Fyshwick

Fyshwick is getting more and more good eateries, and tucked away near Domayne is this gem of a cafe with excellent coffee and really good breakfast (my spouse indicates they make great lunches as well - he is a fan of their pulled pork open sandwich, slow roast pork belly was also given the thumbs up by a colleague). I had the Rosti with smoked salmon (buttery with just a hint of salt) and poached eggs, and some of the best hollandaise I've had in memory (creamy and not too sour) - apart from needing to steal a slice of toast from my spouse to sop up the egg and the hollandaise, it was perfect. My spouse had the Big breakfast (exchanged egg for a very generous serve of avocado), which was also yummy. All up - better than many of the places we eat at around Canberra and certainly better than, for example, Ona which always seems packed.

Since running our own business I've found eating healthy is a huge issue Most days I cook our own lunch We eat at least once a week at The Plumb I look forward to it ! Lovely staff and they do try to use good fresh food ingredients

Dined here again for lunch. Service was friendly and efficient. Good menu selection. Coffee was really good. Both our meals were ok, nothing to rave about but nothing to complain about either. You do get a decent sized serve for the price you pay. Worth the visit if you are in the area and want a satisfying meal.

Great food and service. A delight to take friends or business acquaintances to as always consistent. We had the burgers which were definitely two hands required. Hand cut chips delicious.

I came here for a lunch meeting and was treated to table service, good quality coffee and the lamb burger I chose off the menu was delightful! This is a relaxed and friendly cafe with easy parking, fun staff and passion for good food. No skimping on flavour or quality here. I will be back to try their breakfast!
