Ship Inn - Fylde

We had a fantastic lunchtime meal. Have you ever seen a crispy duck massaman curry? I had to try it and it was delicious. And the braised beef wellington was equally delicious. Service was attentive and atmosphere good. Now our new favourite local pub to...eat. Can’t understand all the poor reviews over the summer. Maybe something has changed but our experience was perfect and my wife had been the month before and that was great too. Highly recommended.

How can some idiot leave a 1 star review because a pub has a policy that anyone local knows is dog friendly, if you didn't like it walk out, hard to survive for pubs without people creating a profile to leave a negative review The...pub is always fantastic great food, friendly service and good beer

Had a 60th and 30th birthday buffet at The Ship yesterday and felt we must share our experience. From the initial booking to when we left, Mark and the team could not do enough for us. We had the upstairs to ourselves and with a...hot and cold buffet on the circular table. The food was excellent and rather than put it out all at once, was replaced throughout the afternoon so it was always fresh and warm. After yesterday we wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Ship at Freckleton.

My husband and I went today with two of our friends. We all had a different dish each, all absolutely fantastic. My beef wellington was utterly sublime. We were seated and served by a lovely young man who couldn’t have been more courteous and friendly....10/10 for food and service!!

Visited here for a special family birthday. We live in Spain and chose the restaurant out of others we love. Have visited before so we knew what to expect Food and service are amazing However we sat within a small group of tables 3 in...total and between those tables where 5 dogs. Once one started to bark they all set off. I do not like dogs in restaurants and I don't want to sit with them. Offer an area that is dog free. Our experience was spoilt totally and felt saddened for my family that we chose this restaurant above others. This is not a cheap meal out and over £100 pounds for 3xpeople I don't understand why restaurants have to have dogs. Avoid at all cost if you don't like dogs
