Another great Mothers Day. Food, drink and service all top notch and good value.

Called in here for lunch with a business client and too advantage of the lamb chump special with minted gravy and Dauphinoise potatoes. Absolutely sublime! Service at the bar was very good and we were attended to during the meal. Cannot fault the food the vegetables (a mix of peas, beans and Savoy cabbage were done perfectly, the potatoes were just the right amount and the meat was plentiful and exceptionally well cooked. The thick, minted gravy complimented the whole dish. A beautiful pub lunch (although it was really more than that!

I stayed here for 2 night at their inn. Staff is very nice. I have had a couple of meals here. The cheese and onion pie is home made. very tasty. The locals that come here are very nice and friendly (thank you Mick)

The Friends of Furness Vale Station volunteer group of 11 enjoyed a lovely 3 course meal at the weekend, especially designed for us by Tina, as well as one for our dog. Food was good, wholesome and home cooked with very generous portions great value. Loved the fact the food and plates were piping hot, no luke warm food served here. Thanks to all the staff working that night for the attentive service and making it a special occasion, enjoyed by everyone.

Just had a meal here with the family. It was lovely. Really nice menu to choose from, friendly staff, good atmosphere and great value for money.
