Vaerloese Sushi - Furesoe

A hidden gem north of Copenhagen. Excellent sushi of all types served in the coolest way. Good assortment of Japanese beer and also good wine.

This is a very pricy restaurant, but didn’t have the service quality of a restaurant. The waiters didn’t seem trained in dining customers, only take-away. Drinks were served from take-away, in bottles. Sushi standard were low, tasteless and limited in creativity. When we wanted the bill, the answer was a lazy “can’t you just come up here?”.

Very nice level of service and food. Takeaway of fine quality. Very fresh, some waitingtime, but not a problem.

We often buy Sushi from Vaerlose Sushi. They have a big selection and all very high quality. I recommend their boxes.

The 299 kr box is just enough for 2 with an average appetite and does not offer a lot of variety. Moreover, most of the sushi had little taste and we suspect part of the sushi was not freshly made. Overall, low value for your money!
