Waldschenke - Funes

The restaurant was recently decorated and completely lacks atmosphere. We had to sit inside because of rain. The terrace was a better place to sit. The pizzas were good, but my dish of the day: a tagliatelle with zucchini and shrimps was somewhat of a disappointment...

Great traditional Tyrolean food as well as more typical European dishes , open all day which is not standard in the area. (Except Mondays)

The waldschenke is a delightful place to enjoy south tyrolean hospitality and the delicious local food in all its forms as well as pizzas! we stopped for an early lunch before heading out for a hike, and had the homemade schlutzkrapfen (a dream! and the cheese dumplings with cabbage salad. we sat outside where the view really is something special. we came back again in the evening (as it 's conveniently located to enjoy a beer after a long day 's hike and both had pizzas (a large pizza menu . they have many vegetarian options (which is not always the case in the mountains! , the prices are good value and the staff and owners were very attentive and obliging. they also had a detailed english menu which was a great help we felt very welcome. all in all, we definitely recommend this spot and look forward to returning again!

Posto immerso nella natura con da un lato la chiesa di san giacomo in ranui e dall'altro gli odori. camera moderna con molto legno. carta con una serie di proposte, eseguita correttamente. prezzi in linea con l'offerta.

Posto molto bello in fondo alla valle dei divertimenti e vicino alla chiesa più istagramata del Trentino. il personale è gentile e professionale. cibo e buone pizze. prezzi congrui nei dintorni
