Pastelaria Boutique Lido - Funchal

Went with two children, ten and fifteen. Amazing cakes, and good selection of drinks and pastries for everyone in the family.

Just the best cakes and breads Staff are really friendly and as I have a wife with a gluten intolerance, they are very accommodating and have a nice little range of GF cakes

Found this by accident, but is now my go to coffee shop. Simple no nonsense coffee shop, very busy but nice to see the staff working as a team. Cake selection was very comprehensive, slightly dis appointed they had sold out of the traditional pastel de nata. But that is more a reflection on how popular the place is. I will look to get there earlier next time.

This is a brilliant cake shop, the best we have found and we've tried a lot. The sandwiches and soups are also first class. Coffees, especially the expresso and the ponchas are both absolutely superb. It is worth going to Madeira just to try their cakes.
