India House - Funchal

The staff is very kind and they are happy to tell you which dishes are vegan. We had a mixed platter and it all looked and tasted amazing! The location on a lovely old street in Funchal is another plus. Would definitely recommend!

Very delicious food for an affordable price. I can especially recommend the tandoori and the south indian garlic curry with huhn. great service and every penny worth!

The menu said it was vegetarian so had to ask if they had vegan options. I think it depends on whether they use oil or butter. One of the few places that were open on holidays, so estimated to find somewhere where the cat. We had the Dal taka and Chana masala. Nice curry! Yum yum.

Nice restaurant with good food. The Chana masala was easy, but good. The Aloo-Panak was delicious.
