The Fullerton Anaheim

We stayed for three nights during our trip to Disney. Upon arrival, we were surprised by a $200 deposit, which was unexpected and threw off our budget a bit. The staff was friendly, and our room was clean, although the beds were slightly uncomfortable. Additionally, the dresser drawers kept opening on their own. However, the breakfast buffet was fantastic—definitely the highlight of our stay at the hotel!

The Hotel Fullerton Anaheim charges too much for the level of cleanliness and maintenance it offers. When I first entered my room, it seemed somewhat clean, but upon closer inspection, I noticed some dirty spots. The closet doors were broken and couldn't be opened, and the dresser drawers kept sliding open by themselves. On my second night, I discovered a large cockroach or water bug in my bed. After that, I was moved to another room, only to find noticeable boogers on the desk and wall in the bathroom. The sheets in this new room were stained, had a strong bleach odor, and were worn out with several holes. Additionally, both rooms had broken mini fridge doors. The complimentary breakfast was disappointing as well, tasting like it had all been prepared in a microwave. Given the hotel’s high rating, I was extremely let down by all these issues. The rating for this hotel is far too generous.

The staff was really friendly and food selection was good! They had a different selection each day we went, which was great! One day they had pancakes, another day they had cornbeef hash.. it was good having something different each day! They also had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, fruits, oatmeal, bread, bagels, cereal, apple juice, orange juice and coffee. The only thing I would have liked to see, is having some sort of turkey bacon or turkey sausage. I didn't eat any of the meats, as I don't eat pork, so having that option would have been nice. But overall, would definitely come back to the hotel to stay with my family for their friendly service and breakfast buffet!!

Our next room was on the upper floor and had a balcony, but it came with its own set of issues. The air conditioner was broken, the door didn't close properly and looked as if it had been forced open before, with the chain lock half ripped off. There was a small amount of mold in the bathroom too. Although this room didn't smell of cat pee, the refrigerator was set too low to be of any use, and there was no way to adjust it. The only positive aspect of our stay was the breakfast, which featured quality food and plenty of it. I had high hopes for this hotel, but I was appalled by how they attempted to elevate a motel without maintaining the basic amenities. It was clear that the only thing they focused on was the breakfast. The staff at the front desk were decent, and the dining and cleaning staff were friendly, but housekeeping only occurred if you specifically requested it. I spent four days and three nights here – far too long! I would rate this establishment zero stars if possible!

I had one of my worst hotel experiences in this place. The hotel building looks nice, booking pictures are all good, but inside is a different story!Everything is basic and cheap. They don’t clean the room unless you call the reception and ask for it. We found this after our 3rd day of stay! They don’t even include a bottle of water in your room.Breakfast is awful. Few options and variety. They just rotate sausage every other day. And worst of all everything is cold even the egg!And most of staff are rude. They make you feel you need to please them!! Horrible place. At best they are a mediocre motel and not a hotel.Simply, the place doesn’t worth what they’re charging.
