Once I tried my food I didn't get what all the reviews were talking about. Not the worst but definitely not the best. We had the asada, al pastor, and fish tacos.

GET THE AL PASTOR TORTA. Life changing. I love trying new spots and I heard of this place on Facebook and was NOT disappointed. Friendly staff, and even better al pastor. The chicken tacos were meh but the torta honestly made it up for it.

The food was extremely bland, and not worth returning. Extremely disappointed, as this was truly a unique place with it's unique flavors. I truly hope they return back to basics or undo any recent changes to their recipe. For those still reading, we ordered vampiro chicken tacos and a carne asada burrito. The burrito was lacking in meat and almost tasteless and the vampiro tacos were not what we have become used to from this establishment. Sorry, but my Friday night dinner experience was ruined with the level of enthusiasm that you demonstrated for your patrons.

Their food is really good! I say this In light of the fact that, after saying they would refund our money for an order they did not fulfill and never did, we STILL came back for more! Ponchos is the one of only places we would do this because they are usually so fast and their food is always so delicious! And btw...Grubhub refunds grubhub orders; however, had we not contacted Grubhub and waited for them to refund our money or said anything, we would not have been reimbursed. They also made no attempt to offer any special discount or apology for making us wait an hour for our food on Friday and when we showed up they had not even started the order! They had a huge car show in their parking lot and were 30 minutes behind in their in person orders and yet made no attempt to start our order, even though we made our order over 60 minutes earlier than anyone in the restaurant and told us they would refund us our money so we left because of it was 8:00 and we were hungry! Now it is Monday, no refund in site...I call to just ask them to remake our order and not to worry about refunding our money, just use the money to replace our same order and they told me another manager would have to speak with me and to contact GrubHub for my refund! I had already gone through the order and their food is UNBELIEVABLE, so I replaced our order and habe contact Grub Hub for our refund and will come back again, but this needed to be shared, because this is not the way to treat your customers, especially repeat customers who come almost weekly and bring you business when many restaurants are closing their doors! If their customer service matched the quality of their food, this restaurant could sell their food worldwide! It is the BEST food! Hopefully they will take this review to heart and learn to treat customers with a bit more respect and kindness when they make a mistake and then make the customer figure out how to fix it without offering so much as an apology for their trouble.
