Broken Yolk Cafe - Fullerton

The food was excellent. We had the chiliquiles and the bloody mary, both were fantastic. The prices were reasonable and the service was great. The menu was simple and easy to navigate. We definitely plan on returning!

Despite being very busy, my family traveled from the Bay Area, like many others, to visit Disneyland. The food looked enticing, but unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to dine here. We provided our names but were told the wait would be 45 minutes to an hour. After waiting for 40 minutes, we received a text saying the wait was now 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours. Growing frustrated, we decided to call the restaurant for an update. We were informed that, as a party of six, we could not be seated at two tables together. This seemed unfair as others who arrived after us were already eating. When I asked about the possibility of sitting at separate tables, the staff insisted that we could not be split up. This lack of flexibility and customer service left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Ultimately, we decided to cancel our reservation and find another restaurant.

I ordered: 1. Acai bowl 2. Avocado toast without the poached eggs 3. Mile High omelet (with spinach, turkey sausage, and avocado), hash browns, and their homemade blueberry muffin 4. I also chose 2 benedicts: the Border benedict and the Sope benedict with a side of black beans. Overall, everything was delicious and our server Brittany was fantastic. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

I tried their Chicken and Waffle Benedict. OMG!! If you love sweet and savory, it is a must you order this item ...It was delicious! ?

Lemon Ricotta pancake super recommended. Ordered No Name' Omelet and it was on the dry side for my personal liking but they did such a wonderful job with the mushrooms as it was seared, golden brown not mushy at all for the side their blueberry muffin was dense and delish. Classic and Golden State Benedict weren't bad too. Great place to have brunch with friend and family. Busy restaurant but excellent service!
