Goldener Karpfen - Fulda

Perfect host, exceptional rooms, fantastic service, best eat! I couldn't find a better place if I stayed in fulda all the time!

Had an amazing fresh dinner while in fulda for Valentine's Day. the special menu for this date was absolutely spectacular. three courses and all were great. I'd like to come back.

Right in the Altstadt with plenty of outside seating, service professional and friendly. We had the 'light lunch ' menu and chose tuna carpaccio very thin and so soft it melted in the mouth then veal cooked like silverside tasty and for a...light lunch a very ample portion. Meal was only €26 for two courses and for this quality of food, service and ambience is untouchable. Heartily recommended as an oasis of calm and value.

Had lunch in Goldener Karpfen after a long walk inthe Xmas market. Nice environment, romantic fashioned. Really excellent food (fish as well as meat), yet a little bit expensive for the average price of this small city. Nice and sympathetic waiters.

Came for an unannounced visit to fulda and found this jewel of a restaurant. excellent service and eating. good wine selection and many customers on Wednesday evening are a proof for an excellent location
