Sommer's Restaurant - Füssen

A large hotel restaurant with friendly staff and good food. Breakfast was buffet style with adequate choice and dinner was served (main course and sweet) but with a salad bar starter.

Food was fresh, delicious, plentiful. Staff was exceptional in providing service. Very family friendly.

We had a long day of hiking King Ludwig's Way and need sustenance! We were pleased to find this venue nearby our hotel. Warm, calming atmosphere despite how many folks were seated. Our waiter was very kind and helpful. We did have to wait a...bit for our food, but it was served hot and was tasty. I enjoyed the variety of the salad bar. It was nice to linger, enjoy the atmosphere and each other!

The staff truly stands out at Sommer's restaurant: they will attend to any of your requests. As typical in Fussen, the restaurant closes on the early side (around 9pm), compared to places in more populated cities. Prices are a bit higher than other restaurants in...Fussen, but the staff, wine list, and service make the difference.

Very nice reception, very friendly service staff, indoor or outdoor seating, wonderful view of the mountains, 1a eating, all around satisfactory restaurant
