Two Black Dogs - Fryeburg

Whoever cooks here please read. Your chicken fingers were pretty good with the tempura. But your poutine was a disgrace. People want cheese melted on the fries not chunks of unmelted cheese curds or cheese sticks whatever it was. The food wasn't pleasing to look at either. Your fries tasted they had been sitting under the red light for hours. Won't go back and whoever is thinking of going think again.

Unfortunately- don't plan a trip here anytime soon...... great for a quick stop over..... however, they are permanently closed.... building is up for sale

Standish location: If I could put negative stars on here I would put -5. WORST EXPERIENCE AT A RESTURANT IN MY LIFE! The owner/manager is the most rude, outrageous and bitchy women I have ever encountered. She does NOT know how to treat PAYING customers and being a manager SHOULD NOT be her job. Long story short after 20 min waiting for the appetizer we are told they don 't have the appetizer my friend ordered. After waiting 40 minutes for our meals we find out they do not have what my friend ordered for dinner either. Instead of doing any type of customer service the manager says in a snarky way What do you want me to do about it? We just opened so I don 't know what to tell you! . There was a little back and forth arguing and my f friend did not eat and walked out on his $14 dollar tab(which I did not agree with). My father and I paid our bill. When my father and I were leaving the building the manager FOLLOWED us to my car to find my friend. Since this friend was riding in my car the manager called the COPS and gave them my license plate number. I was a paying customer and had no part of my friends bill yet she continued to call the cops and give them my information even after I protested her giving them my information for no reason. I reminded her I was a paying customer but she was to worried about 14 dollars instead. Don 't waste your money on this place you will leave hungry due to waiting so long for food and pissed because the service is terrible!!!

The food was very good, however, the temperature if the food could have been water, as it was like warm when delivered to our table. We started with the artichoke and spinach dip, which was out of this world. I have had the same dip from many other restaurants, but this is the best! For an entree I got the fish and chips;the fish was cooked perfectly, nice and crisp, and not too greasy. The tartar sauce appeared and tasted homemade, and was delicious. This place does not offer dessert, which I thought was a bit strange. Good size portions, I had enough leftover for lunch!

Best place for food I've ever gone prices are very reasonable I usually can't eat it all and I have another meal for later thank you very much
