River Hills Seafood Steak - Frontage Rd

When I decided to leave without paying, they called the police, claiming I was going to write a negative review. As a fellow restaurant owner, I found this behavior unacceptable. They falsely accused me of stealing food, despite it being only six dollars worth. I ended up with six to ten police officers responding to the scene, and I was detained and issued a trespass notice for the restaurant. It's worth noting I had just filled my gas tank for $180 at their location, but because I expressed my dissatisfaction with their food, they escalated the situation. I currently have a lawsuit pending against them. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant and their gas station entirely.

We started with the shrimp cocktail, but Donna also offered us samples of both the gumbo and étouffée. We ultimately decided on the dinner for two, which included two salads, two bowls of gumbo, two sides, and 30 shrimp. The gumbo was incredible, the mashed potatoes were homemade, and the shrimp were large—definitely not the tiny ones you sometimes find. We will certainly be back!

This is a nice, clean restaurant with a family-friendly atmosphere. The food is quite good as well. Overall, it's worth the price.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating! Our food, which was all very tasty and came in generous portions, didn't take long to arrive, especially considering there were nine of us. It exceeded my expectations in a pleasant way!

The servers were very friendly, and the environment was clean. The food was decent overall. I ordered grilled chicken, but it was a flattened breast and quite dry, although it had good flavor. I felt that the prices were a bit high for the quality of the meal.
