Spelunker's Frozen Custard And Cavern Burgers

The owner and marketing team at Spelunker were fantastic during my Halloween photoshoot with Mr. Bones. He walked me through how to properly cook a burger, ensured the truck was safely parked, assisted customers with their orders, and even took a break for lunch!

Spelunkers was a delight! The burgers were incredibly fresh, exceptionally juicy, and cooked to perfection. The minimal toppings really allowed the beef patty to be the star of the show! The fries were perfectly salted and not overly greasy. The sweet tea was just right—golden and perfectly sweet. I'm definitely looking forward to returning!

Delicious burgers! I ordered the fish and chips, but I wouldn't choose that again. However, their burgers and custards—what they're known for—are fantastic! My family and I really enjoy visiting whenever we're in the area.

This place has the best burgers I've ever had. In and out can not hold a candle on it and Jack in the Boxburgers pale in comparison. Your offers are tasty and juicy. Do not let the young staff fool you, they are friendly and on point. Although the journey through the line looks long, I have never waited for my order for more than four or five minutes. After the discovery of this facility, I converted 5 of my friends here to the burgers. You can find succulent burgers, crispy pommes and delicious Custard in Front Royal.

First time visiting and ordered for the 3 of us. Ordered 1 cavern single combo, 1 cavern double combo, and 1 kids combo. The raw cut fries were great and plenty of them. The burgers were delicious but very greasy. For desert the kids meal comes with a frozen custard (which was a generous portion for our little guy) which he wanted the Special of the Day, Caramel Apple. After taste testing it ourselves (it was great) he devoured it. Vanilla custard swirled with caramel and chunks of apple and nuts. We also ordered a Single Scoop Vanilla Waffle cone to split between the two of us. After the meal a single scoop was more than enough. I would definitely recommend, but come with a big appetite.
