Café Burg Gnandstein - Frohburg

Unfortunately, there is nothing to evaluate, because despite an intensive search for the opening hours, I only opened one from 11.00 a.m. and opened the door in front of us at 17.30 a.m. There's only one star because I was free.

Somehow the worm was there. Lately, the quality of food and service is growing somewhat. The coffee gets worse also the food works cheaper. Or the wishes are implemented with misunderstanding and then the following ignorance. Shame! We regularly come to the castle for 14 years

Yesterday there was a wedding......the burgvogt was brilliant! I laughed so much! Great!

Like a family celebration at Gnandstein Castle. The ambience was great and full of loving details, e.g. planting, lighting and decoration. The burgvogt has led us through the evening with an incomparable, humorous way (muscle cat from the laugh included). The service staff and the good kitchen have provided excellent welfare. A great and unforgettable stay, thank you.

Today noon (12.15 Easter holidays in Saxony) waited for food for 1h. When it was there, it was z. T. already cold. Only 1 service and 1 cook on site. This explains the long waiting period. With all understanding, but at the prices I expect warm food! If the management urgently needs to work on the staff deployment plan. 2 stars only for the (despite all circumstances) friendly service and the good food recognizable in approaches.
