Marble Slab Creamery - Friendswood

The quality control here is very disappointing. The staff's limited English proficiency made effective communication difficult. When I requested a cookie cake to celebrate "Happy Birthday AJ," they couldn't understand me over the phone. Additionally, I find Marble Slab to be consistently overpriced for nothing particularly special.

I ordered a birthday cake and luckily I called two days in advance to confirm my order. However, they had no record of it, even though I placed the order in person!

This is definitely my favorite spot for dessert! The customer service is fantastic, and they have the best ice cream I've ever tasted. Plus, there's a great selection of cookies, cookie cakes, and ice cream cakes to choose from, along with a multitude of ice cream toppings. Honestly, what's not to love?

I ordered a cookie cake for pickup at 5:30, but when I arrived at 5:35, I was told that my cake was just starting to be made. I needed it for a party at 6:00, and they even laughed about the delay. The cake wasn't ready until 5:55.

I encountered an older Asian lady who seemed uninterested in assisting me, but George was absolutely fantastic. His customer service was excellent. I placed an order for cookies for my son's 21st birthday, and while it was almost what I requested, it ended up saying "21th." There was also a $5.00 charge for the extra frosting I wanted, but unfortunately, it wasn't spelled correctly. I should have double-checked the order more carefully when I picked it up. I wish I could share a picture of it!
