L'Isola - Fribourg

One of the best pasta/Italian experiences in Fribourg, if not the best. Easy going staff, plenty of space, great quality food. A rather business-like ambiance/clientèle at lunch. I would give the place a 5th star if they could make the place warmer, a bit more cosy. Of note, address the boss as Maestro . Try Monsieur and you won 't get far. But please don 't tell anyone I said this. Enjoy!

Antonio's very careful attention and good humor gives a very special character to the evening. A place to return to!

Best pasta ever. The food was amazing. A real Italian restaurant where they know not to mix seafood with dairy. The people were very nice and the place is neat, large and cosy.
