Contribuiți la feedbackI stopped by for lunch today and decided to try a vegetarian calzone with added chicken, opting for it to be baked instead of fried, which I really appreciated. The staff member I spoke with was very friendly and informed me that my order would be ready in about 25 minutes. I arrived shortly thereafter, and although they were busy, I had only a brief wait. A friendly employee greeted me when I walked in, and my order was ready as promised. After I paid, he wished me a wonderful day, which was a nice touch. The restaurant has a calm and laid-back atmosphere, and it was clean and felt safe, which I always appreciate. When I finally dug into my calzone, I was thrilled with how fresh and delicious it was! The accompanying pasta sauce for dipping was a great addition. My mother tried it too and shared my enthusiasm! Overall, we had a fantastic experience with great service and an excellent calzone. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful lunch!
I’m really unsure about what’s happened to their pizza lately. We hadn’t ordered in a while because the last two deliveries were quite disappointing. The pizzas arrived sloppily made and barely warm, despite the fact that we live less than half a mile from the restaurant. We decided to give it another chance today, but unfortunately, it was no different. The pizza was undercooked and uneven on the bottom, resulting in some raw, doughy spots. The cheese was thick in some areas and didn’t even reach the edges like it normally does. Moreover, it arrived lukewarm, and the exposed sauce on the edge was actually cold, so we had to reheat the slices in the oven. It’s really disheartening because this used to be our go-to place for over 20 years. It seems like the quality occasionally drops, possibly due to new cooks who aren’t familiar with the DiCiccos standard. I might try one more time, but I’ll pick it up myself and give clear instructions on how we prefer it cooked—like we used to get: a thin, golden-brown crust with cheese all the way to the edges, delivered hot. In the meantime, I’d love to hear any recommendations for your favorite pizza places, as we’re looking for new options.
Let’s begin with the positives. The house dressing is excellent, and the bread is quite good as well, with generous portions. In fact, it could make for fantastic French toast the next morning. Now, onto the negatives. Almost everything else we ordered fell flat. The Scarface and Arianna’s pasta dishes were both lacking in flavor. The Scarface had a slight edge thanks to the Alfredo sauce, but the Arianna pasta with the red sauce was surprisingly tasteless. The side of Alfredo was watery and resembled a thin chicken broth rather than a rich sauce. The side salads were pretty basic too. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. While I wish I could forget it, the $79 bill is a reminder I won't easily shake off.
Hands down the best Diciccos in the system. Best amenities. Friendly service incredible food. Highly recommend the Fried Ravioli, the sauce is also next level. Have never had a bad item here. Love the dinner salad with salami and cheese, wet and dry dressing (Italian and crumbled blue) I also add a side of ranch. Can't go wrong with their pizza and lasagna. Beef ravioli is always a must for me as well.
Delicious, consistent food and service! Can't go wrong with dining in or takeout. We love coming here whenever we are craving Italian food that the whole family will enjoy.
