Asuka Japanese Cusine - Fresno

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Both the service and the food let me down. The server was lackluster and clearly needs more training. It was also quite uncomfortable when he attempted to flirt with my underage sister. I strongly advise steering clear of this place and choosing a Japanese steakhouse instead, where you can expect much better food and service. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 1 out of 5.

I was surprised when the $15 menu price suddenly changed to $18 on my bill, and when I inquired, I was told, "Oh sorry, we haven’t updated the menus yet." It’s frustrating to be charged a different price than what’s advertised. The food was only lukewarm and lacked any flavor. The portions were quite small, especially considering the price increase. The meat was fatty and tasteless, and the salad was just plain iceberg lettuce with a side of sour dressing. We definitely will NOT be returning—this was the biggest waste of $65 for three meals.

I had an outstanding experience at Asuka! I've sampled sushi in eleven states and five countries, and the fish here ranks among the best I've ever tasted. Our group of four shared the large sushi boat and a few extra rolls, and everything was absolutely wonderful. We also tried some kimchi, which was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and we will definitely be back for more. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I dined with my friend Dee at a small, cozy restaurant that has a charming vintage vibe. The food was absolutely delicious, although I did find it a bit on the pricey side. The sushi rolls were generous in size and quite satisfying. Our waitress was friendly, which added to the overall pleasant experience. All in all, I believe it's definitely worth a visit! :)

The sushi was outstanding and the service was very attentive. I would highly recommend it to my friends.
