El Gauchito - Fresh Meadows

I had a wonderful time enjoying delicious meals with my family. You can't go wrong with any of their Parilladas (Grilled Meat) dishes. There are plenty of options to choose from, so I'm sure you'll find something you'll love!

The food was outstanding! We ordered three appetizers and three entrees, along with some salads. The lighting in the restaurant was just right—not too bright or too dim—and the atmosphere was comfortable and not overly noisy. Overall, the service was pretty good, although there was a bit of a wait between the appetizers and the entrees. The prices were reasonable, but keep in mind there is a 4% surcharge for credit card payments. I highly recommend this place! Plus, there’s plenty of easy parking in the area.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is incredible, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly, and I highly recommend dining here.

This is a lovely restaurant with excellent food. The chicken empanadas were among the best I've ever tasted—definitely a must-try! The meats were also quite good, and the portion sizes were generous. We ordered the two-person platter, which included six large pieces of meat. My only complaint is that one of the pieces was undercooked; you can see how red it was in one of the pictures. Fortunately, the staff offered to cook it again. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

This is our 2nd time at El Gauchito 2. Excellent food, serving and atmosphere. This Argentinian restaurant in Queens is nothing less than a top notch steakhouse in Manhattan. The food is extremely tasteful, prepared and served with care. We enjoyed the hot bread and butter along with jamon y queso plate on the house. Then we ordered empanadas de carne al horno y ensalada de la casa (heavenly taste! to share while we were waiting for our parillada. Red wine small carafe 0.5L and one big bottle of sparkling water for our table of 3 was perfect. For desserts I recommend the Tiramisu, outstanding quality. La crema catalana (creme brulee is fancy sprinkled with rum and then fired at the table, quite a show. Our server was Marcela AND 2 other helpers which I don't remember their names. A big THANK YOU to all, we'll be back!
