1875: The Steakhouse - FRENCH LICK

We were seated promptly at 5:45, the time of our reservation. Our water glasses were filled and Jaden came to our table to tell us about the tomato juice and take our drink orders. The special of the evening was scallops, which we ordered along with a crab cake and lobster mac and cheese. All the dishes were good, although there wasn't much lobster in the mac and cheese. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience.

Upon our arrival, a gentleman attempted to seat us but was repeatedly interrupted by a hostess who was eager to tell us about the restaurant. After the third interruption, the gentleman finally escorted us to our table. Our waitress greeted us warmly and provided excellent service, despite the persistent interruptions from the same hostess. The waitress skillfully handled the situation with grace and professionalism. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was inviting, and the waitress was exceptional. Despite the issue with the hostess, our overall experience at the restaurant was fantastic.

My husband and I went to this restaurant for his birthday, which we often do for special occasions. The restaurant was very crowded and noisy on this particular Monday, possibly due to a convention at the hotel. We were seated at a small table between two larger groups, which made it hard to hear our server. My husband had some trouble with his drink order, but the food and beverage manager, Tom, made him a great Old Fashioned. My cosmopolitan was too strong, but I didn't send it back since my husband had already sent his drink back. The food was delicious - my husband had the lamb chops and I had the salmon. Overall, the experience was a bit dampened by the loud atmosphere and the mediocre drinks, but we still enjoyed the food. Everyone has an off night, and I guess the bartender was having one that day!

We were seated right away, and water poured and bread and butter delivered to our table, along with the shot of tomato juice, an 1875 tradition. It's the best. Our waiter was attentive and food delivered hot and delicious!

The Lobster Mac and cheese, lobster bisque, and the chocolate martini for desert was amazing
