Fortune Cookie Chinese Food - Fremont

I tried them because everyone said the fried rice was good, I was disappointed in the fried rice and the orange chicken. The fried rice tasted like something you would get at Safeway deli and the orange chicken was soggy from being left in the sauce too long. I will go back and give it another try in the hope they just had a bad cook that day I was there.

Still love that it brings a little NYC ambiance in their flavors. Their food is our favorite that takes us back home, especially the noodles and rice. Great catering too.

My go-to for fried rice. There are a lot of Chinese restaurants in the Fremont area but this is by far my favorite one…I like so much better than the ones that are rated higher.

A little hole in the wall type of place. Mostly for takeout. We dined in, but only on tall uncomfortable stools at a counter. The woman working there was nice, the food was ok, nothing exceptional and a bit overpriced, IMHO. Parking: Small lot, hard for me with a big car. While we were there, the high school students from across the street swarmed both the restaurant and parking lot as their lunch time started.

Good food really quick for take out. It's a hole in the wall but don't be swayed.
