We asked waiter what kind of hefe they have on tap and he went on to describe what a hefe was. Our waiter didnt pick up any of our appetizer or dinner dishes until after the dessert came. He also gave us our check before our dessert was served but we werent done we wanted another coffee but we just paid the bill ate dessert and made coffee at home. The mudpie was really good.
The decor is a bit dated and some of the fixtures are in need of repair, such as, the front door weather stripping, the bar light fixtures falling apart, etc. The food was good and the wait staff was great. Too bad the greeter didn't have my confirmed Open Table reservation beforehand. Oh well, she was a Millennial after all ;
This restaurant is one of the most popular, if not the most popular, in the Bay Area, but it is currently closed.
The service at the restaurant was extremely slow. It took the waitress 20 minutes to come to our table, and then another fifteen minutes to bring the iced tea and water we had ordered. It wasn't just our server who seemed to be missing; the usual hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant with multiple tables was also absent. My fiancé and I couldn't figure out where the waitstaff was, as we didn't see anyone around the whole restaurant during the time we were waiting. The service definitely needs to be more attentive and efficient.
The service at this restaurant was extremely slow. I didn't receive my garlic bread until 10 minutes after my meal. The food was overcooked and lacked flavor. I can see why they have bad reviews in the Bay Area.
