Contribuiți la feedbackThe ambiance is more laid-back than polished, reminiscent of the restaurants found in San Francisco's Chinatown, where diners can watch servers, chefs, and waitstaff busy at work—something typically hidden behind kitchen walls in other venues. I believe that good food speaks for itself, and as long as the environment doesn't detract from the dining experience, it's all good. However, during my visit, there was a bit of drama involving what seemed to be a manager and a customer who had been waiting over 40 minutes for their online order. The manager appeared to lack empathy for the frustrated customer, which was unfortunate. A friend mentioned that their experiences with placing online orders here were hit or miss, often recommending that it's better to call in orders instead. Now, about the food: The dim sum selection includes classic dishes, but the dining experience isn’t the conventional one where carts circulate with items to choose from. Instead, you order from a menu, indicating your selections, which are then prepared and delivered to your table. The food arrived quickly and had a typical dim sum aroma, but I found it rather average in terms of flavor and experience—neither disappointing nor extraordinary. If you have a craving for dim sum, this restaurant can suffice, but don't expect anything remarkable. If, like me, you’re accustomed to Asian restaurants that are more casual and less refined, and you're okay with the occasional service hiccup, this place can offer a cozy experience without any frills. I recommend it if you're looking to satisfy your cravings for traditional Chinese food. A small tip: they do not automatically serve water, so if you want it, make sure to ask. During our visit—where we had a table of 11—only one cup of water was provided, and it didn’t seem to be on their radar to offer refills or additional cups unless specifically requested.
The Walnut Shrimp Lunch Special was incredibly overpriced at around $16. It came with an excessive amount of rice but only a few shrimp. While the rest of the food at the restaurant is quite good, I would definitely avoid this particular dish.
I love eating here! My favourite is the shrimps and pork dim sum
ANNEX afternoon yay dim sum in trays ready to go $5 3 egg tarts .50 for going packing???? Clean unisex rooms that have been called to pick up happy BK Bistro now has no egg pie order when I came in to still no indoor eating, beautiful outdoor terrace with parasols, and toilets are unisex and open to customers on the right side of pickup table at the bottom the hall at the end of the left to ask forks to live; were not stuck in sacks.
Got dim sum here. Each entree is minimum around $5. I thought the shumai was nice and juicy. Tofu Skin roll is also decent but a little oily. Order on a paper and items are brought out.
