This is my go-to when I'm after a delicious meal in a cosy atmosphere. I love taking friends from out of town here and sharing a bunch of plates and pizzas with them, accompanied by a few cocktails or beers. Awesome array of vego food too, and I love that the menu changes so regularly (although I desperately want the mushroom pizza again that I had on my first ever meal there! haha). The only thing anyone needs to do when eating here is to order the baked-to-order bread... It's other worldly.

Oh gosh. I wish there were more of us so I could have ordered more off the menu. The Turkish bread with babaganoush was so tasty. The woodfired flavour really comes through. All the dishes were great and the restaurant was packed. Definitely recommend booking especially on a weekend.

A truly underrated restaurant in a town full of so many overrated venues. I had heard by word of mouth from many trusted friends about this place but as so many had been misrepresented I was in no hurry to get here. However, it was well worth the trip and the entrire group agreed we had to come back for the Chef's menu as we were so impressed. Great service, wonderful food and good value - the staff knew what to do the minute we arrived. Our booked table was ready, the staff were welcoming and menus promptly arrived with water. As we were so indecisive our drinks orders were taken and they had no issue with us deciding and ordering as we went, with a polite, efficient and accommodating waitress. I had just wanted to try the pizzas as I had heard how great they were but I'm so glad my friends ordered entrées as well. The woodfired bread was stunning, moist and hot, so full of soft fluffy goodness and very tasty although covered in a touch too much oil. The baba ganoush was divine - I could have licked the plate clean - it was a small serve but for only $4 it was excellent value and I would have happily ordered 3. Olives are olives although these were warm with a lovely soft texture. The pizzas came out promptly and the crust was especially good - I ideally love a Napoli style base but this was also delicious. The crust was thin but not too thin, a light texture and the sauce was so tasty. The margherita tasted like it had freeze dried basil sprinkled throughout - just amazing. The slow cooked beef with celeriac and ricotta was lovely but the chorizo pizza won me over. None of that dried up supermarket nonsense like some places serve, only the best here - soft, fresh sausage was crumbled over capsicum with sweetcorn and feta. The atmosphere was lovely too, calm and quiet but relaxed and friendly. Even though the kitchen was effectively inside the restaurant dining area you'd never tell - staff in the kitchen ran like clockwork as did the front of house. I was particularly impressed that the service was so good as it's very hard to find in Perth for me. We had mainly the one waitress who was attentive without being annoying, knew the wine list well, was able to make recommendations - we did have to ask for more water a few times but that was a minor thing when service was great. She knew the status of our order at every step and when she thought it was taking too long she followed up without bothering us. Very impressive as I find that even most fine dining establishments in Perth haven't quite got their staff to this level. Even the bill was done well, with a food total and a separate drinks total which made sorting the bill between us a lot easier. Overall a fantastic evening - definitely one place I plan to come back to often!!
