Contribuiți la feedbackExcellent service. table service with seating inside and outside. staff were very friendly and helpful. o got oats (minus cranberries and banana on the side, my own pickiness) which were amazing. so yummm. my partner had the famous hock. another dish polished off and made to perfection. overall awesome little cafe.
One of the best cafes in fremantle and certainly the best coffee. Also, they provide creative and tasty dishes on their menu with healthy options. As a bonus they are dog friendly!
Had breakfast here the other day and the coffee was amazing! My boyfriend got the eggs benedict which was delicious. I got the Avo smash and as I'm pregnant I asked for the eggs to be really well cooked and unfortunately they were still quite runny so I didn't eat the eggs- which made my breakfast a little disappointing! Overall it was a lovely place for a morning coffee and feed before work/uni.
The customer service is beyond excellent in this place. They really make you feel comfortable, striking up conversations with all of the customers. You rarely would find that anywhere now days.
We spotted this gem by accident and it now will be a go-to for us whenever we are in Fremantle. We were there for brunch on a Saturday and although most of the tables were occupied, our party of 4 found refuge on the large high table next to another couple. Two of us ordered 'The Hock' which included potato gratin, shredded pork hock, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. My mate mumbled half-way through his plate that ‘this is the best brekky I’ve had in a **** long time’ and I tended to agree with him. By the name of the dish ‘The Hock’ I expected a dish looking like a Viking’s last supper but it was more on the dainty side with two cubes of gratin flanking the shredded hock and the poached eggs perched like Olympic medallists on the gratin podium. The hollandaise sauce wasn’t drowning the rest of the dish, the pork was succulent as it should be, the eggs were cooked perfectly and the gratin had a hint of garlic to compliment the potato. Another one of our party had bacon and scrambled eggs which was a HUGE serve and the health-conscious member of our group and rye bread with ricotta and rhubarb. Whilst there was a risk the rhubarb dish might be overly sweet, the report was that it had great balance with the ricotta rounding off the tartness of the rhubarb and a hint of sweetness from the drizzle of sauce. Once we were topped up with a second round of coffees we left content with the promise to return.
