This is one of the few authentically French restaurants in Frejus. The atmosphere, the service and the food was second to none.
Some will know La Sangria was formerly L'Equipe. It shared the two names for a while and has been run by the same couple, with Marie-Therese in the kitchen and Roger front of house, for many decades. The cooking is always competent and their are some dishes that are superb, like the fish soup and clafoutis. It is a very safe bet when you can have quite variable experiences elsewhere on the Riviera. Long may the Sangria flourish.
Received in this restaurant on the evening of 14 July where it is black in the world where all the restaurant terraces are besieged... Slightly excited the establishment of the seaside... The negative points plastic garden chairs placed on the gravel on the terrace with for the roof sky of the military style of camouflage a small effort there on it) the fries unfortunately frozen house the dishes would almost without fault)... and I wish that a jet 27 in digestive be offered on a table of 5... not serious... The positive and dynamic waitress points out outside the frozen fries the well-worked and correct dishes overall... Overall, this establishment deserves 4 dishes because I can’t write it to 3 on garden furniture, fries frozen and a jet 27 while it goes for the most part
Atypical restaurant, reception and professional and very friendly. The menu offers a wide choice of entrances, dishes, desserts. An in-plats-dessert menu for 23,50€. It's all home. Service is effective. 2 bedrooms and a garden will allow you to spend a very pleasant time. I recommend it.
