Small restaurant with tables on the pavement which means people constantly passing when eating. Nothing wrong with it but not great.
We stopped here for dinner before hitting the night market. Moules frites only 10.50 euros, very tasty but disappointed when I got to the end of the dish to not find the creamy white sauce associated with this dish. Still very tasty but not what I expected. Reasonable price.
We visited Cote Mer on the first full day of our holiday in St Raphael; the main reason we chose the restaurant was that, unlike many of those nearby, it appeared to be busy and to be entertaining plenty of "locals".The restaurant was clean and airy and our order was taken promptly; my wife ordered Moules a la Crème and I selected Spaghetti Fruits de Mer.The food arrived fairly quickly and although we had to ask a couple of times for the drinks we had ordered to be served, this was no real problem. My wife enjoyed her meal but felt that it would have been better with a creamier sauce; my spaghetti dish was stunning. Often, when I have ordered this dish, or something similar, in the past the taste of the sea food has been overshadowed by a strong sauce of some kind (usually tomato based). On this occasion, the chef had sufficient confidence in the quality of the sea food to forego the sauce and to let the mussels, cockles and prawns "speak for themselves".We completed our meal with one very indulgent ice cream for me (pistachio and nougat based) and a very alcoholic cocktail for my wife.Including drinks - half a bottle of red wine, a litre of San Pellegrino and the "Colonel" cocktail - the bill came to 55 Euros which we considered to be excellent value. We shall return to this restaurant before our holiday ends!
Very good authentic French restaurant on the main beach road. You must book in advance as it is frequented by a lot of locals. Food is very good, as is the service. Strongly recommended
Looked like this could bee a nice placeret to get a meal.We could have easily have spent around 80-100 euros here. I asked politily if we could have a table for 3, but the table was not cleared yet from previous customer. And the French Female waiter said ok if we could wait a while. So after waited for about 5 min. We spotted a vacant table across the room.We went over there, and this rude waiter, threw us out.So i'm very deligthed that bussiness is going so well, that they have the luxury to sort out their customers. And they fact that i don't speak any French, made me use the universal langauge and gave him "F. U." Sign. This is a very seldom Thing for me to do, and my wife and daughter was speechless for seing me being so angry about the treatment that we got at this restaurant.
