Tamino Pizza Pasta - Freiburg

Very good pizza in Freiburg, good service and in the middle of the city... I will be back in summer to try the large terrace on the first floor

I was here looking forward to a pizza with my husband while we were there on honeymoon. We had discovered the restaurant a few days before and noticed that they had an English menu outside in a shop window. We went to the restaurant that... was not so busy, maybe eat 8-10 couples or read the menu. We were greeted by a laborious waiter who just stuck his finger in the direction of the table. We sat down and menus where we lay on the table a few minutes later, just to open them to find that they are in German. My husband is tired of getting the waiter's attention running like a headless chicken, serving food and taking other orders from other people. After all, my husband got the waiter's attention to just giving away the brush as he left. For another 10 minutes past and finally the waiter came to our table to take the order. Because the menu was in German, we find it pretty tricky understanding some of the language. We asked the waiter if he could explain what a particular dish was on the menu. He didn't know the English word for this German word in the menu. Then he asked rudely the couple next to us, where was the English word for this food and they could not tell him or us. Then he took a deep breath through his teeth and said I had no time for it and went away. Of course, I and my husband, where completely refuted in this behavior, I also think the other couple that sat next to us, could not believe what they were where they witnessed. We got up and went out. You're another guy. Rude arrogant and obnoxic staff, why harass?!

We went into the restaurant, which wasn't that busy, perhaps 8-10 couples eating or reading the menu. We were greeted by a obnoxious waiter who just jabbed his finger in the direction of which table to take. We sat down and menus where slat on the table a few minutes later, only to open them to find that they where in German. My husband tired to get the attention of the waiter who was running around like a headless chicken, serving food and taking further orders of other people. Eventually my husband got the waiters attention, to only be given the brush off as he walked away. Around a further 10 minutes passed and eventually the waiter came over to our table to take the order. He then, took a deep breath through his teeth and said "i haven't got time for this" and walked off. Naturally, myself and my husband where utterly disgusted in this behaviour i think also the other couple who where sat next to us couldn't believe what they where witnessing. We stood up and walked out. IF YOUR ENGLISH, DON'T BOTHER, IF YOUR ANY OTHER NATIONALITY DON'T BOTHER. Rude arrogant and obnoxious staff, why bother?!
